The Gumtree Festival is Mississippi’s premier arts festival. Each Spring, artist from all over the Southeast descend on Downtown Tupelo for a weekend of music, performance, food, crafts, and visual arts.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

We hope you will join us for the 48 Annual Gumtree Fine Arts Festival!  This Mother’s Day-weekend event has become a tremendous source of pride for Tupelo and the region.  Our 2-day juried fine arts festival brings upwards of 20,000 people to Tupelo to celebrate the visual and performing arts, as well as to offer our audience the rare opportunity to interact with the artists while viewing and purchasing fine works of art.  In addition, there will be live artists demonstrations; educational art activities, youth art award ceremonies, live music and entertainment, local food vendors and much more!   We aim to spark art patronage and conversation in the community in a time when art awareness is crucial.  The GTF committee are proud to offer this weekend event to our community free of charge so join us May 10th and 11th around the historic courthouse square in Tupelo, MS for the 2019 GumTree Festival!
