Gumtree Festival
The GumTree Festival and the GumTree Museum were both born out of the same desire to enrich our community through the arts, to provide the atmosphere for engaging conversations, and contribute to our community both educationally and economically.
The GumTree Festival is celebrating its 42nd year in 2013, and will be held Mother’s Day weekend, May 10th, 11th, and 12th around the old Court House Square. The Festival is highly respected, and brings an influx of 30,000 people to downtown Tupelo the actual weekend of the Festival. GumTree Festival showcases the artwork of around 100 artists from all over the south and beyond. GumTree Festival is an iconic institution for the fine arts, and we hope to see you around the Court Square this May!
