Tupelo High School senior, Taylor Gurley, is hosting an Art Benefit at GumTree Museum for William Heard’s brainchild Our Artworks aiding other physically disabled children in the Art community. The exhibit will feature artwork by William Heard, Our Artworks students, Tupelo High School students, and others. Taylor has been volunteering at GumTree Museum as part of her community service and will be presenting her success of the exhibit to her classmates. We invite you to support our graduating senior and Our Artworks by joining us for a wonderful exhibit.This senior project will reflect the positive effects art can have on disabled people and to show the community how art can change lives.Our Artworks started in 2006 and is funded by a grant William received from the Spinal Cord Trust Fund of Mississippi created for people with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Traumatic Brain injury (TBI), and those with other disabilities, who need an outlet to be creative.
