We will explore the architectural highlight of the cradle of the Renaissance including the Florence Cathedral complex, Santa Croce, the Basilica of San Lorenzo, and the Duomo Museum.

About your speaker: Julie Mattox is a 39-year visual arts veteran educator, Mrs. Mattox has gained the reputation of teaching her Advanced Placement Art History students with passion and commitment. Understanding the educational importance of viewing iconic art and architecture first-hand, she has organized and led numerous tours to Paris, Florence, Rome, and Venice as well as excursions to New York City.
